Bad bad girl....

I feel so bad. It has been over a month since my last post. Life has been crazy and when I do get a few moments I don't want to blog. I just want to sleep!

some fun facts:

-Mom is running for Idaho State Legislature (District 11, Sea B to be exact). She will be an amazing representative, we just need to get her elected. Visit her website http://www.ronaleeforrepresentative.com/ to learn more. If you like me, you will love her because she is half the reason I am so cool (other half is dad's reponsiblity :) )

-I saw Blake Shelton in concert! I took my niece Kaylee for her birthday and my sister Stacey came along too. It was so much fun!

-I turned 28. Yep. That is right. I am that much closer to turning the big 3-0!! I took Thursday/Friday off. Mom/Dad were down in Las Vegas visiting some of Dad's friends so I spent most of it alone. Lexy invited me over for dinner on Thursday and I didn't think it was going to be anything special. I arrive and TJ has to tinkle so we chill in Lexy's front yard for awhile. I hear the door open but didn't see anybody. So I head up to the front door and just walk in. From behind the counter pops Emma, Wyatt, and Marlee yelling "suprise!" My sisters threw a family suprise birthday party for me. (BTW this is just one of the many reasons my family is the best.). Lexy had made German chocolate cake and pulled pork sandwhiches. Jana and Stacey arrived after they had gotten off of work. It was so sweet of them.

In addition to the sister suprise party, I dragged my sisters up to McCall for the night on Friday. We never get to spend times as just sisters. Kids and husbands are usually there. So my birthdya wish was having the girls come along. I initially wanted Mom to come but she was with Dad in Vegas. Friday I pick everyone up in the van. I was driving and Jana riding shotgun. We had Lexy with baby Maddie, Caitlyn, and Stacey in the back. We had Chinese in Eagle before we hit the road. What a fun time. We giggled, gossiped, and shared so much. After some misses, we finally get to the cabin and chill. When I was in Vegas years ago, I participated in a hypnotists show. Jana and I split the cost of the DVD so we would have a souviner. We haven't watched it...EVER. Unfortunately Jana remembered the DVD and brought it along. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as I remembered and we all had a great laught over it.

Because of all the kids we only stayed the one night. But it was a great night. I have decided it will be a yearly trip. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures except a pictured of the cabin as we were getting ready to leave.

Zoo Eggstravaganza

Today, Zoo Boise was hosting their annual Eggstravagnza Egg Scramble. I loaded up two of my neices, Kaylee and Emma, as well as my friend, Brehdi. It was so fun. We got to see the Tigers up close and also play. Then we also saw a baby....wambat or something. I think we were at the zoo for maybe 3-3.5 hours. It was great. :)

SUNDAY 10/10/10

Sunday was spent at parents house making bread and vegging out. 

Lexy, Marlee, Caitlyn, Emma, Jana, and Wyatt came over to visit as well.  Wyatt brought downall four stuffed bears and lined them up on the couch to watch TV.  He was sitting there next to them and then Emma joined the party.  What a bunch of hams!!

I made bread.  I am nearly done with a 101 goals (making bread 6x in a year). 
I have 3 down and just three more to go.

SATURDAY 10/9/10

Saturday was an eventful day.  After only 4.5 hours of sleep, it was up and at 'em bright and early.  The RNC (Repblican National Committee) has a tour bus going around the nation drumming up support for local candidates.  The theme is Fire Pelosi!.  Saturday at 1030, it was schedule to stop at the Canyon County Repbulican Headquaters in Nampa.  Mom of course was going and I went along too. The rally was also in support of Republican candidate for Idaho's 1st Congressional District Raul Labrador.

I must say that if people want to get elected, they should hire the Linsenmann clan to be their campaign manager.  The rally was held 1 block away from one of the busiest road is Caldwell.  You  think they woudl have people on the corners waving signs trying to drum up more people and support.  But there werent.  Mom was able to get her Republican elephant flag back.  So she went and stood on the corner waving the flag in anticipation of the bus arrival.

My mom rocks!!  She was the first to greet the bus as it approached the rally.  WOOHOO for her!!

After the rally it was a rush to get things together to go tailgating at BSU Stadium.  My friend Kara invited me.  It was a blast!! I wish I didn't stay out so late on Friday night because I was just drained on Saturdya and couldn't enjoy it as much as I would have liked. 

It was a weird feeling because there is a delay on the tv.  I could hear the crowd in the stadium cheering or booing and have no idea what they were celebrating.  It was driving me nuts!! 

I left at half time with every intention of picking up TJ from my parents, and going home to bed.  Well Dad and I started talking and I ended up staying for the 4th quater.  I was tired!!

Not only is it Friday, the day is going by super fast!!  I am also headed to happy hour with two friends from work!  That is guaranteed to get a GREAT time!

Viva Las Vegas!!

So I survived Vegas. I had a great time. With so many girls (19 of us) there were to be issues and problems. Oh well...we mostly ignored those girls. Because it was such an exciting time, I will let the pictures do most of the talking but here are the highlights:

1st Day
RIDING IN A LIMO FOR THE FIRST TIME!! It was HUGE!! I could stand up with no problem.

Winnging $101.46 on my first day. I actually won $60 becasue I had put in $40.

Saturday is a special day..

Saturday was a good time.  It started with getting some prescription sunglasses.  Because I couldn't decided Caitlyn and Emma were nice enough to come help me out.  Everytime we asked Emma's opinion she would say "I like red".  Cailtyn was a big help so THANK YOU to her.  After a few hours here is the final result:

After the eye Dr., Caitlyn and I made a quick run through the Farmers Market.  We were going to walk through with Lexy and Chris but Marlee didn't sleep well and needed a nap so they took her home.  After the Farmers Market (which TJ was able to come) we went to the park for a little picinic.  It was a relaxing time but warm.  I think it was 90 degrees that day.

After the park, I babysat Emma til it was time for the races.  I met up with my friend Kara and her son Riley, Jana and Wyatt to watch the races.  It was a great time.  Riley is a racer of a sprint car (I think that is what it is) and Kara's husband is a race official.  Their family is really dedicated to racing..Audrey (Kara's daughter) also races.  It is a family sport.  Riley was so cute on Saturday.  He was starnding on the blechers practicing his flagging.  We sat with Kara's friend and the husband of the friend races.  While between heats (aka races) he came and sat with us.  He told Kara to tell Riley he needs to be careful because some dirver watch him rather than the actual flagger. I think Riley is only 9 or 10.  Kara said it was possible for Riley to flag when he was 14 years old but she said they are making him wait til he was 16 yrs old.  He was so enthusiatic and animated when he was flagging.  He had his head seat on and everything.  It was so cute to me.  

The races were fun.  Some minor crashes and a wheel popped off.  I really enjoy it.  Poor Kara had to answer all my questions.  I am sure she  was getting annoyed.

New purchase

I finally caved and got the internet at my house.  Now I can post more often (work is getting too busy) and watch hulu!!

Today have I little planned.  I am going to clean my house, go to the dog park, quick trip to the super junk store, meet friends for a movie, and go to bed early!!

Portland here I was!!

I grabbed my old Kodak camera last night to take some pictures of the outstanding fall colors (my point and shoot Sony I left at Caitlyn's on Monday). I downloaded the memory card last night and I found my trip with Libby to Portland from Memorial Day 2008!! Isn't that crazy!! it made me laugh some of the pictures I took (those are not posted here).

Fast times

So the weekend was a blast. Saturday was super long and super fun. The Farmers Market was a little depressing because it was all pumpkins and very few vendors. It was really cold but it was nice to snuggle into a sweater. Plus it was a new sweater I had just gotten and I LOVE IT!!

Another great find this weekend was a collar for TJ. I was at Shopko (were I got the sweater) and was cruising their clearance waiting for a friend to get off work. In the pet section, there on clearance was a collar for TJ. It was a SEAHAWK COLLAR!! To make it even better it was only $0.89!! LESS THAN A DOLLAR!! Regular price was $8.99! How awesome is that!?! I purchase the three there. No other teams that I saw.

Speaking of Seahawks, we FINALLY WON!! And what a way to win. 41 to 0 against the Panthers. I didn't watch the game but I will look it up online. Hasselbeck was finally back so that is a huge relief!

The cold weather continued all day Saturday. When we went to the Pumpkin Patch, it was coat weather. Emma and Marlee seemed to have a good time. Before the Patch, we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. The chicken fried sirlion was suprisingly good.

Saturday night it was time to go and party with Jasmine for her birthday. It was fun times with the girls.

On Sunday was Marlee's first birthday party. She was kinda cranky but Lexy and Chris put on a great time. There was finger foods and cup cakes and pink everywhere. Marlee preferred to walk around using the bags as purses instead of opening up her gifts.

I am so excited for Seattle!! Can not wait to see Sam!! Another bonus is that Clint is up there so I can see him too. I did a little research and have a few must visit spots. If anybody knows where else I should go, please let me know!!

all by my lonesome, I was lonesome

I have found an old MP3 player the other day. I put in a new battery and started to listen to what music I had. I last listened to this MP3 player when I lived on Juanita in Boise which was 2 years ago (OMG!! How time is flying!!). There are songs that I am still listening too (like Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Gary Allan) but there are some bands I hadn't listened to in awhile. Like Our Lady Peace, Within Temptation, ALL Breaking Ben albums, Evanescence, and Incubus just to name a few. This got me thinking about what I was doing at that time. I had a group of friends and lived with best friend. I thought life couldn't get better. I loved my apartment, roommate was great, work was ok (and will always be just ok until I am independently wealthy), family was awesome, what more could I need?

I was annoyed with some friends. It seemed that I was always arranging everything. If someone was having a birthday, I would be the to organize the party/bbq, or if we wanted to go out, I would get the tickets. I would pay for tickets out of pocket and expected to be reimbursed. Did that every happen? Not really. I was slowly getting fed up with it all. They woudl all dump emotional baggage on me, but when I tried to offload some of my own, who would listen? No one. I slowly started pulling away until I just stopped answering their calls. I know that sounds cold but I tried talking but never got responses. So I ended it.

So the group of friends was no longer there. That was ok. I still had my family and the best friend. Now I know what the group of friends felt like. The best friend slowly pulled from me.
I am listening to these songs (especially Breaking Ben, Within Temp, Panic @ Disco, etc) and thinking of the times that we were playing Halo or Baldors Gate and having a great time. Or the runs to Jack in the Box becasue neither one of us wanted to cook dinner. Or the time we made bathroom brownies (not like they sound. We couldn't turn on a light in the kitchen becasue that would have given away that someone was home and we were hiding from some people. So we took all the ingredients itno bathroom and use the water/light in there).

There was the Holy Day of Thursday for Supernatural. Last night while watching the premiere all by my lonesome, I was lonesome and wished I could go back to the apartment on Juanita. I understand that people change. I have changed. I just wished I could still have that particular friend.
