Happiness!!
WOOHOO!!! So happy to report I get a new schedule! I have to be to work at the awful hour of 6am. But do you know what tha means? I am off at 3!!! SCORE!! I also found out that I will be working the day after Thanksgiving. But positive note to that? I get paid time and half!! AWESOME!!

loverly weekend!!
What made this weekend loverly:
-Saturday morning Farmers Market with TJ and I. I took my picnic basket along to carry all my goodies and I got so many compliments!! (Who doesn't like to start off the day with someone telling you, you look cute?) Great scores at the market: raspberries, cherries, and YUMMY lemonaide (or as Emma likes to call it Lemonlade).
-Saturday lunch was picnic in the park with family to celebrate Wyatt's 5th birthday! The weather was perfect. Children behaved. I had a yummy PB & P (peanut butter and preserve) samich. It was made better because I used my homemade raspberries preserves.
-Saturday evening was taking myself to a movie. I thought I was going to see Thor but the time changed and I ended up seeing Priest. Not that bad. What made it really amazing was the backwoods drive to get to the theater. The sun was setting and I was driving through farmland. B-E-A-UTIFUL! I didn't have a camera or I would have tried to capture some of it and skipped the movie.
-Sunday sleeping in!! OH HOW LOVELY!!
-Sunday had for lunch had ribs (ich!) but DELICIOUS corn on cob and baked beans. Plus it made me feel loved that Dad would give the big chunks of meat off his rib to me. He would eat the meat of the bone from my rib. I don't like ribs because of the bone. Weird I know.
-Went to grocery store for ingredient for dinner. They had flowers on sale for $3. Because I am a sucker I got a couple. Fresh flowers just make you happier. So they are sitting on the kitchen table for all to enjoy even though I wanted to be greedy and keep them in my room.
-Dinner turned out great. It was supposed to be Philly Cheese steak sandwhiches but I didn't have a gridle so they were grilled steak, pepper, onion and cheese samiches. Still yummy though.
-Dessert was Raspberry Crumble Bars. I added the raspberries from the market and they turned out so much better than I expected. I really need to learn patience. I cut the bars before it was completely cool and because the preserve was still runny/warm, it was kinda soupy but that is ok. it was still great even though it wasn't pretty on the plate.
I love weekend like these. I feel rested but I was still productive (I even did dishes, laundary). I also learned my bank account is bigger than I expected. I love that. It isn't that I got extra money or anything but just keeping my spending low, and rounding everything up in the check register has REALLY helped! Maybe I can swing for the new tent I want after all.

Soggy Saturday..
Today has just been a soggy day. The day of watching movies and taking naps.
I am just now getting to the movie part. The morning was filled with a quick
trip to Farmers Market, Costco, Fred's, Michael, Sally Beauty, Lane Bryant,
and watching some TV at Lexy's house. I am grateful for the rain
but I cant help but wonder.....

New purchase
I finally caved and got the internet at my house. Now I can post more often (work is getting too busy) and watch hulu!!
Today have I little planned. I am going to clean my house, go to the dog park, quick trip to the super junk store, meet friends for a movie, and go to bed early!!

CRAZY WEEKEND!!
So when I last left a note, we were counting down to the premier of New Moon. Well it was AWESOME!! We had tickets for the 1220 showing. However when I showed up to stand in line, they were already seating. Edwards decided to just take groups of 50 and seat them in 1st available showing. I think by the time Lexy, Caitlyn, and Ashlee got there, we were in the midnight showing. So it was 20 minutes earlier than we expected. That is still earlier and means I could get to bed quicker.
IT WAS AWESOME!! I love Jacob even more now. Edward is stupid and Bella is selfish. But Jacob is great. Comparing Edwards chest to Jacobs? Hands down Jacob wins. Plus the rest of the pack was always shirtless so that was a bonus too.
Friday I didn't have to work. I rolled out of bed at 9 because I was going to the quater sale with Lexy at 10. She had a 2 coupons for 25 free items each. It is always fun to find the cute clothes in the piles. It is a treasure hunt!!
After a great morning, I met up with Caitlyn, Brandon, Dad, Emma, and Wyatt at the outlet malls. I got a gift for my niece Kaylee and new BSU/Seahawk gear. We had lunch at Idaho Pizza Co. LOVE their pizza.
After lunch, Dad went back to work and Caitlyn/Brandon took the kids home for nap. I head over to the super junk store. I found a shelving unit for my kitchen. It seems to be the shelves off a china cabinet/hutch because the bottom has the slots for plates. However I am going to remove them. It is so cute with my plants and milk glass on it! Pics to be posted soon.
After the great shopping trip, I found out that Athena got adopted. Thank you Tim!! She offically went home with her new family on Friday night so she only had to spend one night in the pound.
Once home, I place my purchase in the house and grab TJ and head to my parents. Thursday my dad bought & installed a new flat screen 46in tv. Just in time to watch BSU beat Utah on Friday 52 to 21. The refs really annoyed me always calling penalties against BSU but ignoring the exact same behavior from Utah. We won but it drives me nuts when it is so lopsided (penalties wise).
Friday was perfect day. Saturday was a close second. We sisters decided to make Christmas candy. We each divided up the list. I was responsible for carmel. Lexy did fudge, almond bark pretzel, and peanut clusters. Caitly did rice krispy wreaths (which we use corn flakes instead of rice krsipys) and Chex party mix. Jana did Chex muddy buddies and butter scotch haystacks (using chinese noodles). We met up at parents house around 830 and didnt finish til 1. It was crazy the amount of candy that came out. (pics posted soon). It was a great time helping out. It would have been better if Stacey and Kaylee were there.
After candy, it was time to grab a bite to eat and then head to downtown Boise. Caitlyn, Ashlee, and I were goin to me up with my coworker and her sister. It was great time. I wish I had my camera but oh well.
Sunday started out with a trip to Sams Club with the family. Than off to church to teach. When I got home, I was able to see Seattle play. This is only the time this season they have been regular tv. Fox doesn't want to broadcast a team that sucks this season.
What I saw was a major disappointment. When I turned on the game was still had 9 minutes left in the 4th and only down by 18. Yes kinda big but it is only 2 td's and a field goal. However we get in our way (Hasselbeck interception and Wallace fumble).
After the game, I head over to parents. I inteded to work on Christmas gifts but when it took me 20 minutes to find a picture, I decided it was time to organize the picture folder. It is now organized by year. Each year is organized by season, holiday, birthday, and misc (misc classifies anything that was not a specific occassion...example pics of kids playing in grass).
It took me three hours to get it organized. My dad went and backed everything up because there were alot of duplicate that I deleted (comes from having 5 different people downloading pictures from the same camera at different times). After I was through, Dad told me there were 12,000 pictures in the file. That covers from 2003-2009. Of course there are five different people who contribute to the file (me, Dad, Lexy, Caitlyn, and Jana).
After dinner, and head rubs, I headed home to go to bed. I didn't get much sleep this weekend. On the agenda today is clean, grocery shop, and decorate for Christmas. I have to get the first two done today because tomorrow I am having family over for tacos.

IT IS A NEW MOON!!
Guess who gets to see New Moon tonight at 1220? ME!! I going to midnight showing with Caitlyn, Lexy, and Ashlee. I am so excited. Today I am rereading the book for the 4the time. I am so excited. Only 11 hours!!
By the way. This is my favorite book. Edward is a retard and Bella is crazy. Jacob got screwed over in the end of the series!! I LOVE JACOB!!

I gotta new attitude!!
I am been in a perpetual state of grateful lately. I am not complaining, I am just suprised at myself. I have been looking around and thinking I am so blessed. I am really loved by Heavenly Father.
What really set it off today was work. I actually got up on time and didn't dilly dally getting ready (Again I did make up and everything. That is 4 business days in a row wearing make up to work. I had the attitude the people I work with weren't important enought to do my makeup. To do makeup requires getting up even earlier and losing precious minutes of sleep. How backwards my thinking was. This may sound warped but by using that excuse, I wasn't thinking about me. I was thinking about the sleep. I was thinking about coworkers. But I wasn't considering how I would feel. Why should I ever get ready for someone else? Shouldn't my first consideration be me and how I would feel? So now I am important enough to get ready for.)
I make it out the door a few minutes early and didnt hit the start of traffic like I usually do. I didn't end up saying "stupid $%&#*%%^%^&!@*#$ drivers". I didn't start the day full of rage. It was a pleasant exprience.
Work is going well so far. Very thankful for the window. Today has been so lovely. The sky is varying shades of gray. You hear the rain drops and occassionally feel the rain. The bark on the trees are a deep brown..nearly black. What a great constrast to the happy yellow of the leaves. They remind me of mixture of orange juice and lemonade. Just a happy color. The combonation of the three is truly remarkable. There is no way this all (earth, seasons, life, etc) all happend by a happy accident in the universe and we all crawled from ooze. (Speaking of I am not triggered to a happy childhood memory. Do you remembe the Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles the movies? I actually own them on DVD. I think I will have to go watch one when I get home).
I am so glad that I live where and when I do. I know I complain alot but I do love living here. To see the change in the seasons and to be near my family is the greatest things. To play in the leaves with my niece/nephews and to take TJ for a walk in the sunshine is wonderful. We are truly blessed to live here.
I am just hoping the weather stays like it does all day. I would love to go home and open the blinds and windows and let the fresh air roll into my home. To curl up with fleece blanket and TJ and read a good book or watch a movie. How lovely that sounds!

"Today is a new day" Chicken Little
Today has been a wonderful day. The sun in shinning. A slight breeze is in the air. The temperaturs are cool but not cold. Perfect sweater weather, a complete 180 compared to what we have been getting.
I am so very thankful for my window seat at work. It makes the day so much bearable when I can look out the window and see the orange/green/yellow/ruby leaves move and to feel the sunshine. I wish I was outside but if I have to be to work, this is the place to be.
So just sitting here and working on auto-pilot, I started thinking about some of my favorite movies. Just random thought so Megan. Movies like Mummy, Wedding Date, Shag, Someone Like You, and most importantly Chicken Little. Yes the Disney CG version with Zack Braff voicing Chicken Little. I LOVE that movie. Repeat LOVE THAT MOVIE!! I made a friend sit and watch it with me after I got it for Christmas. Yes I asked for it for Christmas.
I don't know if I just know how Chicken Little feels. How it seems he is always brushed aside and not taken seriously. I dont know. I just bonded with that movie and it makes me laugh every time. It is great because I am getting my nephew into it as well.
One of my favorite lines is from Chicken Little. It is when he is up to bat and everyone says don't swing becasue they think he will strike out. He just straightens his helmet, takes a stance, scowls & says "Today is a new day."
I agree 100%. No matter how bad yesterday was today is a new day. It may be worse or it may be better. We need to put the past behind us and look forward to today. We don't have to look forward to tomorrow. Just looking at today is good enough.
I know that I have been one to keep grudges. In some recent...thinking I realized how foolish that is. What is the purpose? Why do I do it? There is not one single purpose or reason why I should keep the grudge. I do it because it, in a real warped way, makes me feel more important. I can always say "see what I have been through". I am just keeping myself bound to the past. I need to forgive and ask for forgiveness for what I have done. I need to get over it. I have noticed a gradual improvement in this. I remember being a great grudge holder. I blame this on the incredible memory I have. I can seriously tell you some of the stupidiest facts or a fight verbadem my sisters had 3 years ago.
But no more. I am improving me. I must say that for the past week I have gotten my bum out of bed and actually put some effort into looking good for work. I do my makeup and all. It is amazing how dressing the outside makes you feel good on the inside.

UP UP UP AND AWAY!!
Jana and I went to the movies last night with Kaylee and Wyatt. We went and saw UP. I wasn't expecting much (it is Pixar but still. I didn't like Shrek or Finding Nemo that much). I was blown away!! It was SO SO SO CUTE!! I don't want to give it away but you all need to see it. Or you can borrow my DVD when it comes out because I am buying it the first day.
But it did make me cry. It made me cry for a couple of reasons. I can't go into too much detail but the first 10 minutes are the sweetest/sadest things. I was SO GREEN with jealousy....OF A CARTOON!! UP just made me yearn for certain things even more and it made me even more thankful for some things I already have.
I know you may think I am crazy to feel like this about a cartoon but it is the way it is. I get tears every time I hear the Star Spangled Banner (well nearly. When I heard Roseann Barr sing it I just wanted to stab a pencil through my ear drum).
Good job to Disney and Pixar with this movie. I LOVED IT!!
